The DeSoto Chiefs Track & Field Program is dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the track. Our program focuses on speed, discipline, confidence, and character while giving athletes the opportunity to compete, grow, and excel in a positive, structured environment.

Whether your child is new to track or looking to take their performance to the next level, the DeSoto Chiefs Track Team provides the coaching, support, and culture to help them succeed.

2026 Registration Costs

Full refunds are not provided after uniforms have been ordered or the season has started.

Additional Information:

Desoto Football is open for ages 5-13 (ages as of January 1, 2026)

Football experience is not required. Teams will have mixed ages.

What is included in Registration?

🏈 What Your Registration Covers

Your Track Registration Fee includes:

✅ League Registration Fees (TAAF MEMBERSHIP FEE)
Covers all required league and administrative fees to participate in the season.

✅ Official Track Uniform and Track Suit
Each player receives a custom DeSoto Chiefs Track Uniform.

✅ Player Insurance
Covers basic participant insurance for practices and games.

✅ Field Usage & Facility Fees
Covers practice and game field rentals and maintenance costs.

✅ Team Administration Costs
Covers background checks, admin costs, and program operations.

Practice Locations

Practice will be held mainly in Desoto, Texas

Volunteers

Our Program is a non-profit and run by volunteers only. If you would like to volunteer reach out to your coach, team mom, or director. All coaches, assistant coaches, team mom, directors, officials and board members are required to complete a criminal background checks with Desoto Chiefs
